Hello beautiful soul

This newsletter comes with so much joy (and a little trepidation, I can't lie!) as Bloom 3.0 comes to life.

"OMG, the things you are bringing are on another level! Been telling my friends all about it, and it all resonates—it's about time someone took this to the work sphere!"

That’s the kind of feedback I’ve been getting from the women I’ve shared some of the concepts of Bloom 3.0 with. If you want to see what they’re reacting to, you can catch the replay of my recent session: "From Striving to Thriving | Harness Your True Power as a Woman Who Leads"

Let me know if you watch it!

Last year, I reached a fork in the road. I knew that both myself and my business were about to undergo an epic transformation.

And wow, have we ever 🤩

I started Bloom at the end of 2022, and in the past three years, I’ve witnessed the fire, determination, and spirit of over 60 incredible women I’ve supported.

I saw these women doing amazing things.

They had the tools, the strategy, and the confidence to build careers on their terms. Yet, despite all of that, I still saw some of them holding back.

So, I made two big decisions:

  1. Rebuild Bloom in a way that truly supports all women to find and use their voice.
  2. Create a brand that captures the uniqueness, fire, determination and spirit of the powerful women I work with.

Today, I’m beyond thrilled to share that brand with you. And next week, I’ll reveal exactly what Bloom 3.0 is all about.

Let’s talk about the brand.

A couple of weeks ago, I shared the new logo with you. Now, I want to share the colours.

When I asked the women I’ve coached what made working with me special, the answer was loud and clear:

"You didn’t just help me land the job I wanted or earn a bigger salary—you gave me permission to do it as my real self."

While so much unites us, each of us is also a completely unique expression of humanity. Yet, so often, we don’t get the space to explore that uniqueness—to ask ourselves what we really want, what lights us up, and how we want to lead.

That’s the real magic of Bloom.
I help you bring that uniqueness out of hiding and let it shine through.
Ness Monsequeria is a great example of this:

"Ruth has empowered me to fully embrace who I am as a leader—quirky, passionate, and unapologetically myself. Her coaching has helped me step confidently into my light, balancing strength and softness as a woman of color in leadership. Ruth’s guidance through tough decisions and self-doubt, combined with her expertise as a former VP and CPO in tech, has been invaluable. She integrates rational, emotional, and somatic practices in a way that truly resonates."

Working with Ness was actually a pivotal moment for Bloom 3.0. In a feedback session, she shared that her experience of my coaching was so different from how the original Bloom brand looked and felt. That insight changed everything.

So, here’s what you need to know about the colours:

→ We contain multitudes. Each colour represents a different part of who we are, giving us permission to express our many sides.

→ While Bloom remains focused on leadership development, my journey  with and deep admiration for yogic philosophy—which has deeply shaped my own growth—is subtly woven in. The colours are inspired by the seven chakras.

→ These energy centres in the body are powerful. For example, when we work on communication, we focus on unblocking the throat chakra—a place where so many of us feel stuck.

I’d love to hear what you think!

Next week, I’ll start sharing what’s coming next for Bloom 3.0—and I couldn’t be more excited.

In the meantime, if you’d like to watch the replay where I share some of the foundational concepts behind this next evolution, you can do that here.

You are not like everyone else sis, that's why you are here.

Rooting for you (and your uniqueness!) always,
Ruth x

There is not a single human being on this planet who has not benefited from a woman's pain 🩸
Hello beautiful soul I was on the subway last week, and as much as I love NYC, I could feel my rage rising.  Looking around the carriage at women of all ages standing. And a world of men sitting, lost in their phones, staring at nothing, heading somewhere. And a thought landed in me so clearly that I had to sit with it for a few days before I knew I was ready to say it out loud. I am going to ...
Safety is not something the room gives you. Safety is something you create from the inside.
Hello beautiful soul I heard a story recently that made me weep. And I don't just mean a little glassy eyed darling. I am talking ACTUAL tears. Running. Down. My. Face.  It was a Selkie story. A Selkie — for those who have not met one yet — is a mythical creature from Scottish and Irish folklore. In the sea she is a seal. Free. Powerful. Fully herself. When she comes ashore she sheds her seal ...
I am not prepared to let a good life get in the way of a great one
Hello beautiful soul So my last husband — whilst he wasn't a very good husband 😬 — had some great catchphrases. And one of them, said early on when we met, has never left me. I remember asking him — are you sure you want to explore this romance with me? We were both pretty well set up at that point. He was happy in his life in Atlanta. I was living what looked like a good life in London. And h...
